LACDA23-012 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received until Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. for parking lot sweeping and power washing services and publicly opened by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA). This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The LACDA intends to award a one-year contract with the option of four (4), one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available. Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting at the LACDA via a Microsoft Teams conference call on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. In addition, the LACDA encourages the attendance of a Job Walk at the LACDA Alhambra Administrative Building located at 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801 on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. An Invitation for Bids (IFB) package containing all submission requirements may be downloaded from the LACDA’s website at www.lacda.org, scroll to and click on “Vendors,” click on “View Open Solicitations,” and under the “Title” column, select the solicitation of interest and then click on “Download Documents Below” and follow the instructions. Bidders shall provide their bid and all required forms and documentations by the due date and time stated herein, and it shall be uploaded in a Portable Document File (PDF) (No other electronic formats will be accepted) with the electronic file name, "BIDDER’S NAME - Bid for Parking Lot Sweeping and Power Washing Services" at the LACDA’s website, www.lacda.org, under “Vendors,” and click on “View Open Solicitations.” Then select the IFB solicitation of interest and click “Upload Proposals,” and follow the registration and upload instructions. Once uploaded, the Bidder shall email Claudia Perez at claudia.perez@lacda.org to confirm the uploaded bid. Invitation for Bids Parking Lot Sweeping and Power Washing Services March 13, 2023 Page 2 All bids submitted by the submission deadline shall be opened and announced with witnesses from the LACDA staff on a conference call via a Microsoft Teams meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, promptly at 3:30 p.m. Bidders may attend the Public Bid Opening Meeting via Microsoft Teams by emailing Claudia Perez at claudia.perez@lacda.org no later than Monday, March 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. for Microsoft Teams invitation and instructions. In submitting a bid, each Bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard LACDA Contract, a sample of which is attached to the IFB package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Bidder who refuses to execute said standard LACDA Contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent’s bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids.
