NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITY! The County invites you to apply for County of Los Angeles Non-CFCI funding in Program Area 8: Grants to Justice-Focused CBOs. As part of the County’s commitment to its Care First, Jails Last vision, the County has allocated $7.65 million in American Rescue Plan funds to assist justice-focused community-based organizations recovery from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This program will be administered by the Care First Community Investment (CFCI) third-party administrator, Amity Foundation. Full instructions and links to applications are available on Amity’s website which you can reach by navigating to www.amityfdn.org/tpa. Questions may be emailed to tpagrants@amityfdn.org. Please note the key dates and timeline below: Funding Opportunity Release: March 3, 2023 Optional Funding Opportunity Webinars: Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 5:30PM Pacific Time & Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 12:30PM Pacific Time Written Questions Deadline: April 17, 2023 at 5:00PM Pacific Time Submission Deadline: April 21, 2023, at 5:00PM Pacific Time Expected Contract Start Date: July 1, 2023 or Upon Approval
