RFP #13-122 - Design-Assist Construction Contract with Guaranteed Maximum Price for John Byouk (JM-50) Park Site
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals for Design-Assist Construction Contract with Guaranteed Maximum Price for John Byouk (JM-50) Park Site will be received by the City of Roseville. Proposals will be accepted ONLY at the office of the City Clerk, Civic Center, 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA 95678 or submitted via electronic mail to CityClerkroseville@roseville.ca.us, until 3:00 p.m., December 1, 2022. The City has elected to use a Design-Assist procurement method under which to construct the facility. The City of Roseville has retained a Landscape Architect to provide design and potential design services during construction. Proposals will be used to select the Design-Assist Contractor for this project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks construction firms interested in constructing the new school park site with the amenities including at minimum: Baseball/softball field Parking lot Concrete pathways Restroom building, Sheltered picnic area Youth play ground Security lighting Picnic tables Seating benches Landscaping The proposed project will be located on a City owned vacant lot at 4651 Upland Drive, adjacent to Rex Fortune Elementary School. The site is approximately 7.73 acres in size. The general contractor will be selected based on the qualifications, experience, and approach to completing the project within the identified budget and schedule. All work must be performed within a guaranteed maximum price (“GMP”). The project will be locally funded. The Contractor shall follow all City bidding policies and practices. Applicable prevailing wage requirements shall apply. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code, Section 3300, City of Roseville has determined that Contractor shall possess a valid Class A, B, or C-27 Contractor License at the time of contract award and for the duration of the Agreement. A pre-proposal conference will not be scheduled.
