LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Engineer of the City of Marina, located at 209 CYPRESS AVENUE, MARINA, CALIFORNIA, until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 16, 2022, for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and other items necessary to execute the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sculpture Garden project.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sculpture Garden is located at the
Marina Library at 190 Seaside Circle in Marina, California. This project includes installation of new paver pathway and decomposed granite walkway and plaza, new drought tolerant landscaping, event lawn, relocated sculpture, and site lighting, and associated miscellaneous work for a complete Project in accordance with Contract documents.
Time for Completion - All work under this contract shall be completed before the expiration seventy-five (75) working days from the date of the Notice To Proceed.
At the time of the bid opening, the successful Bidder must be legally entitled to perform contracts requiring a Class A General Contractor’s license. Any Bidder or contractor not so licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law including, but not limited to, any appropriate disciplinary action by the Contractors’ State License Board.
Due to COVID-19 Public Health Order social distancing requirements, Bidding Documents are on file and public may download from the City website, www.cityofmarina.org/ bids.aspx. In order to receive addenda or other bidding documents, bidder must register as a document (plan) holder on EbidBoard at no cost. Potential bidders, subcontractors and suppliers are responsible for reviewing the complete bidding documents, including all addenda, prior to submitting their bid. Hard copies can be obtained by calling (831) 884-1212, for a non-refundable sum of $50.00 for each set of Plans and Specifications. An additional postage charge of $20.00 for mailing.
