The City of Delano is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified engineering firms (consultants) that have experience and support capabilities to provide civil engineering design services for the construction of improvements at various streets intersection in Delano by providing improvements to pedestrian crossing and handicap ramps. The project consists of improvements at 50 street intersections surrounding 12 local public schools including construction of 68 each ADA compliant curb ramps, installation of 87 ladder-back crosswalks, installation of pedestrian crossing signs and 12 RRFB signals, and advanced pedestrian crossing/yield signs in accordance with the latest edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Deadline for all proposals is April 20, 2023, by 5:00 p.m.
