The City of Alhambra is soliciting proposals from qualified providers or firms in designing, implementing, and supporting physical access control systems. This will upgrade or replace an existing on-premise Keri Systems running standalone at some facilities, add new access control systems at parks, and consolidate into one centralized access control systems.
All proposals must be submitted to the Finance Department at 111 South First Street Alhambra, CA 91801 by 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. All proposals must be in the format specified, enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly identified with proposal title, name of proposer, and RFP number. Responding firms shall be solely responsible for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
The City may select a consulting firm based on proposal alone or may narrow the field to the top firms based on strength of proposal, and then conduct interviews to finalize a selection. The City will have the consultant execute the City’s Standard Professional Services Agreement.

Respondents shall submit in a sealed envelope one (1) signed original RFP and two (2) copies. The envelopment should be labeled RFP 2M22-19: CENTRALIZED ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM. Responses should be submitted to the following address:

Proposals received in the Finance Department after November 1, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. (PST) will not be considered under any circumstances and will be returned to the sender. Proposals may be delivered by U.S. mail, common courier, or in person. No electronic or facsimile copies will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the submitting party to ensure timely delivery.
