Description

This is a special notice to inform the public that the Air Force Test Center Edwards AFB issued a contract to Universal Electronic Alarms Inc. on 14 March 2023 for $25,366.99 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) “Unusual and Compelling Urgency” conditions under contract number FA9301-23-P-0016. Prompt Fire Alarm repairs were necessary to mitigate risk to life, safety, and critical Air Force property. Delaying the award of the contract could result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. This synopsis is not a Request for Quotation or Proposal. A solicitation document will not be made available for this notice, nor will proposals or quotes be accepted. For additional information, see attached Single Source Justification. Universal Electronic Alarms Inc. will provide a fire alarm system with the following item with installation:




  • Fire Alarm Control Panel, 1 each

  • Manufacture: Notifier, Part number: NFS-320

    • Conventional Fire Alarm Power Supply, 1 each



  • Manufacture: Potter, Part number: PSN-106

    • Explosion Proof Strobe, 1 each



  • Manufacture: Federal Signal, Part number: FSEX-24PMC-MOD

    • 120VAC Lighting Arrestor, 1 each



  • Manufacture: Ditek, Part number: DTK-TSS4D

    • Addressable Control Module, 3 each



  • Manufacture: Notifier, Part number: FCM-1

    • Addressable Input Monitor Module, 8 each



  • Manufacture: Notifier, Part number: FMM-1

    • Conventional Flame Detector 0281-00-034, 2 each



  • Manufacture: Detronics, Part number: X3301-A4N11W1
