Description

Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase order: The U.S. Air Force, 60 CONS intends to negotiate and issue a sole source purchase order to provide Immunohematology (Blood Bank) Analyzer/Reagents services with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Inc. Requirement includes instruments, reagents, quality control material for Chemistry and Immuno-chemistry, calibrators, consumable supplies, parts and accessories, and periodic maintenance. The award date is estimated to be no later than 1 April 2023.



Contractor shall provide equipment, supplies, and reagents to allow for all test types approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). The device and all associated components must be included in the Authorization to Operate (ATO) accreditation boundary. The analyzer and all associated components must meet all DoD Cyber Security Measures with an Authorization to Operate (ATO), be compatible for Bi-Directional Interface with Military Health System (MHS) Genesis connectivity, the Laboratory Information System (LIS), and must be on DHA's list of approved devices.



The sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy the requirements should submit a capability statement and proof to provide all aspects of this service. All responses should be in writing to erika.scofield.3@us.af.mil and roberto.escobedo.1@us.af.mil via e-mail prior to 8 Mar 2023 no later than 1200 hrs PST.
