The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a competitive leasing opportunity for the management of 39 residential units located within Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
The NPS issued the RFP beginning Monday, January 9, 2023, under the terms described in the RFP and Draft Lease posted on the Golden Gate National Recreation Area website, link provided below. The opportunity is open to all interested parties.
The NPS will host a one-day site tour and pre-submittal conference scheduled for February 9, 2023, at Upper Fort Mason, located in the Park Headquarters, Building 201, on MacArthur Avenue. Each interested party may submit up to six (6) individuals to attend the site tour and pre-submittal conference. Each interested party is permitted to bring in building systems experts to conduct property inspections. Note that there will be limited time in each representative unit to prevent disruption to current tenants. The selected Respondent will have an additional opportunity for follow-up inspections of the premises prior to lease negotiations. To RSVP, please email Mark Juretschke at the email noted below, no later than February 2, 2023, and provide following information: name of the company or organization, phone number, email address, and names and titles of each attendee. No persons under the age of 18 will be permitted. No later than February 28, 2023, interested parties must submit any questions regarding the RFP, in writing to Mark Juretschke (at the email below).
Any interested party intending to submit a proposal must submit an Intent to Submit as described in the RFP no later than 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on April 28, 2023.
The NPS is only accepting electronic submissions in response to the RFP. Any proposal must be received electronically no later than 5:00 p.m. (PST) on May 12, 2023, in the format provided in the RFP.
All interested parties are encouraged to join the solicitation mailing list to be notified of all future correspondence by emailing Mark Juretschke, Financial Analyst, at mark_juretschke@nps.gov.
