The Command Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW), PO Box 357058, San Diego, CA 92135-7058, intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price purchase order for supplies and services to provide off-site maintenance and calibration services for two (2) Government owned assets and is soliciting information from industry to determine potential contractors capable of the work.

These hydraulic torque wrenches support FRCSW’s LM2500 program. This effort will enable the Government to ensure that all torque wrenches have an active calibration certificate which are only valid for one year. The base order shall include four option years in support of the ongoing effort preventing a loss of calibration certification, which would result in a work stoppage for the LM2500 production. The calibration performed will provide NIST traceability and support torque measurement requirements of the LM2500 Gas Turbine Engine.

Specifically, the required Calibration and Maintenance services are to be performed for (2 EA) Hydraulic Torque Wrenches: (1) EIN: 00000107896, P/N: AH2043CR; S/N: 1396, and EIN: 00000107895, P/N: AH2043CR, S/N: 1397. The Period of Performance (POP) for the requested services is between April 1, 2023 and April 1, 2024. Following this POP, four (4) optional years of calibration and maintenance services shall be included, upon approval by the Government and the Contractor. The Contractor must have full knowledge of the referenced equipment, must have all required technical manuals, must be able to perform all work in-compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) technical specifications and attached DRAFT Statement of Work Statement (SOW) .

THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ISSUED AS A MARKET RESEARCH REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The Government is looking to identify interested and capable sources only. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or enter into a contractual agreement. The Government is not obligated to pay for information submitted in response to this request. Capable contractors are requested to provide a capabilities statement of no more than 10 pages in length that demonstrates the respondent's ability and qualification necessary to show competitive capability. In addition, please provide your company's business size and CAGE code. All properly marked proprietary data received in response to this notice will be protected from release outside of the Government.

All capability statements shall be submitted no later than 1000 EST on 30 March 2023.
