Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

127EAW23R0016: GAOA Bobcat Meadow & Coral Canyon Toilet Project, Cleveland National Forest.

This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals as follows:

Bobcat Meadow Campground – Demolition and Replacement of Existing Toilet Building 9000-T01 Work shall include demolition of one (1) existing two-unit, 4500-gallon, vault masonry toilet building, walkway, and all associated features. Furnish and install one (1) Tioga CXT 2-unit vault toilet building or approved equal. The contractor is responsible for placement of CXT building order, all site preparation, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, coordination of CXT delivery and installation, all required access and clearances, and install of new vault toilet building, accessible concrete walkways, and finish grade around walkways.

Travel on I-8 East, exit Buckman Springs Rd, turn right onto Buckman Springs Rd, and continue for 3.3 mi. Turn right onto Corral Canyon Trail, continue for 5.8 mi. Turn left onto Los Pinos Rd, continue for

1.0 mi, and Bobcat Meadow Campground will be on the left.

Travel on I-8 East, exit Buckman Springs Rd, turn right onto Buckman Springs Rd, and continue for 3.3 mi. Turn right onto Corral Canyon Trail, continue for 7.2 mi. Corral Canyon Campground will be on the left.

Solicitation 127EAW23R0016 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 7, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.

There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
