Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for, but not limited to the following:

- Site clearing and grubbing and demolition of select site features
- Roadway Excavation and Embankment Construction for new parking area and pathways
- Develop borrow site for roadway embankment construction
- Placement of aggregate base and surfacing
- Asphalt paving and striping for new parking area
- Concrete sidewalks, pathways, curb & gutter
- Rockery retaining walls and barrier rock installation
- Riprap revetment, including grouting
- Furnish and install new precast concrete comfort station (toilets/restrooms)
- Install roadway signs, gates, guardrail, and traffic calming devices
- Install site amenities such as bulletin boards, dumpster pads, site ID signs
- Quality Control Sampling, Testing and Reporting
Project Location: State of California, County of San Bernardino, San Bernardino National Forest, Front Country Ranger District
Solicitation Number 127EAW23R0013 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 5th, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.
There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.
Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
