Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, operators and other items necessary to provide the services outlined below for Navy and Marine Corps bases within the NAVFAC SW AOR. The type of contract anticipated for this acquisition is FFP/IDIQ recurring and non-recurring crane maintenance (preventative and corrective maintenance), inspection, testing and certification, Perform Non-Destructive Test (NDT) on the next scheduled annual inspection.



• Cranes and Hoists rated 19,999 pounds and below are classified as Category III and do not require a certified operator. Additionally, these cranes and hoists are required to have load testing on a Biennial period. Operational checks and inspections are required annually.



• Cranes and hoists rated at or above 20,000 pounds require annual load tests, as well as operation checks. These cranes and hoists require a certified crane operator.



• New crane. Perform inspection, certification, and NDT within 60 days after award of the Camp Pendleton Cranes and Hoists contract.
