The MICC Fort Leavenworth, Kansas office is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement to provide foreign language training services which includes providing instructional personnel, curriculum, syllabi, weekly schedules, lesson plans, and course teaching and assessment materials in response to DoD requirements. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis.
The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) End of Training (EOT) Enhancement courses is designated as for students of the DLIFLC Undergraduate Education (UGE) basic level courses whose DLPT scores have not reached the proficiency level of 2+ in the listening and/or reading skill and/or a 1+ level in the speaking skill.
The Contractor shall provide language instructors, documentation of student progress, instructional materials to include syllabi, weekly schedules, lesson plans, and course teaching and assessment materials in support of the areas specified in Program Background. Further detail is provided in the draft Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS) attached to this announcement.
