The Oceanology International Americas Conference is to be held February 14-16, 2023 at San Diego Convention Centre, 111 W Harbour Drive, San Diego CA 92101. The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, Simplified Acquisition Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Relx Inc. dba Reed Exhibitions, 201 Merritt 7 Bldg, 5th Floor, Norwalk, Connecticut 06851 using the procedures in FAR Part 13, to effect a contract that provides a 20 x 20 foot exhibit space in the conference hall, along with a furniture package (tables, a counter, seating, and carpeting), an AV package (laptop and monitor rental, not connected to NOAA networks), speaker/mic system, and internet access. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only one responsible source.

The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541890, Other Services Related to Advertising, with a business size standard of $16.5M.

Although a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
